We know you're busy, so below is a quick overview of what's involved in getting a web site up and running. There are usually five steps involved in creating a web site:
DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION
First you need a web name ... YourBusiness.com! MouseWorks will help you decide on the best
domain name for your business or organization, and will register and configure your new name to get it working.
Already have a domain name? Provide your registrar username & password and we'll help with all the DNS changes and other
technical, behind-the-scenes business so you don't have to deal with it. This usually takes just a few minutes, although each case is unique and the amount of time needed to get things in order may vary.

WEB SITE DESIGN & COMPOSITION
We strive to produce web sites that are creative, colorful, and user-friendly. And we can do it all
from start to finish – research, composition, custom buttons, slideshows, etc. We'll create a site that will reflect your company's image and work easily and efficiently for your clients.
We offer the following elements for your site ...
- custom graphics & navigation
- research & composition services
- photo/slide scanning
- graphics work
- stats counter
- FTP upload to your server space
- database design and integration
- PayPal shopping carts
- fast turnaround on updates and enhancements
And whatever services you require for your site, we'll do it all at the low flat rate of $60/hour .
Future updates to your website are done quickly and efficiently, and are charged at the usual hourly rate. You are billed for the
actual minutes spent on the work -- we do NOT round up to the nearest hour or half-hour!
Please note that we DO NOT create content management sites (like WordPress or Joomla) that clients take over and update themselves.

WEB SITE HOSTING
Once your web site is designed, the resulting html files need a place to reside in cyberspace so that
the public can view them. Prices vary greatly from service to service, but MouseWorks has searched the web to find the fastest and most reliable hosting servers at the most reasonable price.
The company we have chosen meets or exceeds our criteria for fair pricing, reliability, and services rendered. For just $169 per year
(paid annually) you'll get unlimited server space, unlimited mailboxes and forwarding, and numerous other state-of-the-art benefits for your web site. And there are no hidden setup fees with
this package ... account setup is FREE when you use our preferred hosting company!
Already have a hosting company? Simply provide the information we'll need to utilize your account (username, password, and FTP
host address) and we'll do the rest. It usually takes about 15 minutes to configure this set-up on your own hosting, and we do this
free of charge. Should there be any problems necessitating extensive setup or tech support, additional time required will be charged at the usual $60 hourly rate.
Please note that we DO NOT host websites that are not designed by MouseWorks.

 SEARCH ENGINE SUBMISSIONS & REGISTRATIONS
Once your site is completed and is "out there" on the hosting servers, it's time to announce your business or organization to the
Internet community. MouseWorks will add meta tags (specialized html code) to your site that's compliant with search engine submission criteria.
We will then register your site with such major free search engines and indexes as Alta Vista, DMOZ (Open Directory Project), Google, and MSN.
MouseWorks will perform this initial registration service and any resubmissions at the usual hourly rate. Please note that we cannot
guarantee inclusion in any free search engine or index. Guaranteed listings are available through such companies as Yahoo! and Google if you opt for a paid listing.

WEB SITE MAINTENANCE
Don't let your web site get stale! Nothing's worse than a web site with outdated information, links
that don't work, and the "same old, same old" on page one. Let MouseWorks handle your site maintenance quickly and efficiently. Just e-mail your updates and we'll see that your new info is posted in a
timely manner. You'll be certain to draw repeat customers by keeping your web site up-to-date and fresh. No special events or meetings coming up? How about some new colors, "Cool
